Red Ribbon Month and World Aids Day go hand in hand with each other as a means of raising awareness about Aids on a global scale.
Malaria Week According to the World Health Organisation about 63% of people in Southern Africa are living in areas that are affected by malaria, with pregnant women and children under the age of five at greater risk.
World Diabetes Day On December 20 2006, the General Assembly of the United Nations passed a landmark resolution recognising diabetes as a chronic, debilitating and costly disease.
